Joshua Foley, also known as Elixir, is a mutant character from Marvel Comics. He first appeared in *New Mutants* Vol. 2 #5 in November 2003.

Elixir possesses the ability to manipulate his own and others' biological structure at a genetic level. This allows him to heal injuries, cure diseases, and even resurrect the recently deceased. He can also inflict harm, causing diseases or even death with a touch. His powers manifest differently depending on his intent, with his skin turning gold when healing and black when causing harm.

Initially, Joshua was hesitant to embrace his mutant abilities. He later became a significant member of the New X-Men squad, learning to control and harness his potent powers under the guidance of various X-Men members. He's often depicted as conflicted by the immense responsibility and potential danger associated with his abilities.
